About Us
Elle Knight
Property Manager and Business ownerAfter several years working in personal and business banking at BNZ I decided it was time for a change. Although I loved supporting people to grow their business or purchase a new home, I had a new focus. Our son Nixon was born profoundly deaf, and at the age of two he received cochlear implants and began to hear and speak. I decided to resign from BNZ so I could focus on giving Nixon the best possible start to life. After spending those early years supporting Nixon’s learning journey, we stumbled on the opportunity to purchase Lakeside Accommodation. I have really enjoyed building up the business and meeting owners and guests from all walks of life. Success for me is satisfied clients. Recently we took over property management of a local property and increased the owners returns from $12,000 pa to over $35,000 pa in just one year. That was a great moment! In my free time I enjoy getting out into nature with my family and friends. We love to go mountain biking and walking, making the most of Taupō’s beautiful scenery.
